Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra , Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) graced the '60th Foundation Day and World Food Day function on 25th October, 2018 at Institute of Engineers, Sachivalya Marg, Bhubaneswar organized by the Orissa Krushak Samaj, an organization working relentlessly since 1958 for all round development of farmers under the chairmanship of Dr Purnachandra Mohanty. On this auspicious occasion, Dr. S. K. Srivastava, Director, ICAR-CIWA conferred 'KRUSHI RATNA SAMMAN- 2018‘ by Orissa Krushak Samaj, Bhubaneswar for his significant contribution to Research on women in agriculture.The award was given by Dr. Trilochan

Mohapatra , Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) for his long and rich experience for the upliftment of socio-economic condition of the farm women with additional focus on tribal women. During this Occasion, ICAR-CIWA put up an Exhibition pavilion with the display of posters, specimens, models and literature on gender-friendly technologies. More than 1000 farmers from different parts of odisha visited the pavilion, and were briefed about the research and extension activities of the Institute and its technologies for drudgery reduction in farm and home activities, nutrition, IPM and livelihood security. The Chief Guest, Hon'ble Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra along with other dignitaries also visited the stall.
