The ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar organized Voter Awareness Forum on 11th April, 2019. About 100 participants consisting of scientific, technical, administrative, supporting and contractual staff participated in the programme. Dr B.Sahoo, nodal of the programme welcomed all the participants and detailed about the objective and process of organizing the voter awareness forum through presentation. Dr S.K.Srivastava, Director, ICAR-CIWA highlighted the rights of every citizen to cast the vote and advised the participants that no voters should be left behind to empower the voters for the nation. The discussion, quiz question answers were also organized to disseminate the technical knowhow about the voter awareness forum. The participants were also informed the digitalized methods on systemic voters education and electoral participation to ease access of information through mobile. Dr Anant Sarkar, Sr. Scientist coordinated the programme of the voter awareness forum.
