ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture conducted awareness on Constitution Day & Citizen’s Duties Campaign in Beherasahi village, one of the adopted villages under MGMG programme in Satyabadi block, Puri District on 19th December, 2019. 40 rural women participated in the programme. They were made aware of the Fundamental Duties of Indian citizen as laid down in the Constitution of India. A rally focusing on the Fundamental Duties was held with the participation of the rural women in the village. Flyers regarding Constitution day and fundamental duties were also distributed to the participants. Standees depicting Constitution Day and Citizens Duties have been displayed in the campus of ICAR-CIWA for awareness creation among the staff and visitors of the institute. The programme was co ordinated by Dr Tanuja S, Nodal Officer, Constitution Day and Citizens Duties Campaign.
