ICAR-CIWA organised Campaign on “Agriculture and Environment: the Citizen Face” and also celebrated Constitutional Day in Govt. School, CRP, Baramunda on 26th November 2021.

ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha organised a programme on Orientation and Interaction on “Agriculture and Environment: the Citizen Face” under Bharat Ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and also celebrated Constitutional Day in Govt. School, CRP, Baramunda on 26th Nov. 2021 following COVID Guidelines. The programme was attended by 70 students. Dr. Arpita Mohapatra, scientist, ICAR-CIWA welcomed the Principal, teachers and students of the school. The students were briefed about the importance of Constitutional Day by Mrs. Tapaswini Sahoo. The students, teachers and other participants read the Preamble. Dr. Arpita Mohapatra then highlighted the importance of Agriculture and Environment in our life and their interrelationship. Sri. Manoranjan Prusty explained the school children about the importance of Agricultural education and its role in agricultural development of the country. Mrs. Tapaswini Sahoo described the role of ICAR-CIWA in strengthening the Indian agriculture system. An exhibition of various women friendly farm equipments, different seeds and fertilizers was done to enlighten student about the ongoing activities being carried out at ICAR-CIWA. Finally a quiz programme was organised among students and were awarded prize. Programme was ended with Vote of Thanks.
