Dr. N. S. Rathore, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Education), ICAR, New Delhi visited ICAR-CIWA on August 20, 2015 and had a meeting with the staff of ICAR-CIWA. The meeting started with oath taking on the occasion of Sadvabana Diwas followed by brief presentation by Dr. S. K. Srivastava, Director, ICAR-CIWA on the research and development activities of the Institute. In his address, Dr. Rathore, stressed upon the importance of the Institute in global context, appreciated the work of the Institute and highlighted the future opportunities for the betterment of the Institute. He also urged the scientists and other staff of the Institute for more focused research with gender perspective.
