ICAR-CIWA Observed Vigilance Awareness Week-2019

As per instruction of Central Vigilance Commission and Indian Council of Agriculture and Research, New Delhi ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar observed the Vigilance Awareness Week-2019 from October 28 to November 2, 2019 with a theme of “Integrity- A Way of Life”. Dr. S.K.Srivastava, Director ICAR –CIWA administered the vigilance pledge to all the staff members and explained importance of the events. A Seminar Talk was organized on the theme of the year i. e. 'Integrity - A Way of Life'. by Dr. P. Nanda Principal Scientist & Vigilance Officer ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar, to create awareness to make India free from corruption. The scientists, administrative and technical staff of the Institute were participated in the pledge and seminart on 28th October 2019. For sensitization of public on Vigilance Awareness Week, Walkathon and formation Human Chain was organized on 29th November 2019 by the staff of the Institute. Audio clip of the walkathon was also developed on the occasion seen by through the link. Quiz and debate competition among the staff were held in the Institute on 1st October 2019. The valedictory function was organized on 2nd October 2019 with welcome address by Smt.Geeta Saha, Co-Organizer of VAW. The Dr. S.K.Srivastava, Director ICAR –CIWA in his address advices integrity of individual and organization as a core value for national development, eradicating corruptions is deeply rooted in human values rather than making laws and creating institutions. The winners of various competitions were felicitated by the Director during the celebration. The programme was ended with vote of thanks by Shri B C Behera, Co-Organizer of Vigilance Awareness Week.
