| University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad, and the ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA), Bhubaneswar, licensed the Process Technology for ‘Iron-rich millet-based supplementary health mix (promix)’ to Mr. Anand Narayan Subbaraman, Arjana Nutrition Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru as the licensee. The technology was developed by All India Coordinated Research Project on Women in Agriculture (AICRP-WiA), UAS Dharwad and ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar. The signing ceremony was graced by Dr. Mridula Devi, Director, ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar; Dr. B.D. Biradar, Director of Research, UAS Dharwad; Mr. Anand Narayan, Arjana Nutrition Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, Karnataka. Dr. Surekha Sankangoudar, Unit Coordinator, AICRP-WIA, UAS Dharwad and Scientists namely Dr. Sannapapamma K.J., Dr. Vinutha U. Muktamath, Dr. Rajeshwari Desai, and Dr. Ravi Y. were also present during this programme. On this occasion, Dr. Mridula Devi, Director, ICAR-CIWA highlighted the significance of technology licensing and emphasized the nutritional benefits of ‘Promix’, particularly its potential to improve dietary iron intake and support better health outcomes. |
