Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai during August 12-14 (2002). •Best Poster Award for Product Development for Poster presented in the XXXVI Annual Meet of the Nutrition Society of India held at CFTRI, Mysore from 5 – 6th November (2004). •Home Science Staff and Dr.S.Kannaiyan Award for the Best Ph.D. student in Food Science and Nutrition (2005). •Foreign Travel Grant of the Post Graduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya, Sri. Lanka for paper presentation at the Eighteenth Annual Congress of the PGIA, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka from 16-17th November 2006. •Deputed to Cornell University, USA from 24th August to 24th December 2008 for Curriculum Development in the areas of Food Technology, Food Laws and Quality Control under the MPS – M.Tech (Food Processing and Marketing) Dual Degree Program of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and Cornell University (2008). •As Selection Committee Member of Subject Matter Specialist in the discipline of Home Science, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, CREED Farm Science Center, Jayamkondam, Sriyalur District on 17.06.2011 (2011). •Awarded First Prize for Best Poster Presentation during the First Indo European Food for Health Conference held at the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai from 10-12 February 2013.
