ICAR-CIWA successfully completed the Special Campaign 2.0 for disposal of pending matters

Special Campaign 2.0 for disposal of pending matters was successfully accomplished by ICAR –CIWA, Bhubaneswar. During the preliminary phase (14-30 September, 2022), the pendency with regards to pending references from the State Govt., MP’s, Inter-ministerial references, pending PMO references, public grievances & appeals (CPGRAMS as well as grievances received from other sources ) were identified. In addition to it, targets were set for office scrap disposal, space management, cleaning of campaign sites and simplification of office rules. During the implementation phase (02-31 October, 2022), the pendency reported as well as the targets fixed for cleanliness activities, Swatchta campaigns, removal of office wastes and scrap material were carried out. The campaign offered an opportunity to cleanse the office premises from unwanted stuffs along with clearing all pending grievances, weeding out unwanted files & strengthening digitalization and E-office activities. The women farmers from Institute’s adopted villages also participated in the campaign and made it effective through cleanliness activities under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Daily action taken reports were also submitted to the council during the implementation period. As a result of this special drive, huge office space was freed and more space were created which gave a sense of sanctity and a positive vibe for the smooth execution of office work. The campaign was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Ankita Sahu, Scientist as Nodal Officer and Dr. Arpita Mohapatra, Scientist as Co-Nodal Officer of the campaign along with active participation & whole-hearted cooperation of all the scientific, technical and administrative staffs of the Institute.
